Anton Paar has been the forerunner in lab tech ever since the beginning of the 20th century. Now at last we can have their professional tech at our home or our brewery.

The sample is filled into a U-shaped borosilicate glass tube, which is electronically excited to vibrate at its characteristic frequency. The characteristic frequency changes depending on the density of the sample. With the determination of the characteristic frequency, the density of the sample can be calculated.

Only a small 5 milliliter sample is needed. Gone are the days when a large measuring cylinder of your finest brew had to be filled and then thrown away.
