CaraGlow is our lightest colour caramalt (10-20 °EBC), designed to deliver subtle sweetness, a very delicate malt flavour and a touch of fruity brightness, all while maintaining a clean, refreshing finish.  

Its incredibly gentle crystallisation in one of our roasting drums produces a mild malty character with hay-like notes and aroma. This makes it suited to Pale Ales, Blonde Ales and Hazy IPAs, where a light touch of caramel complexity and improved mouthfeel are desired. 

Compared to our standard Caramalt (30–42 °EBC), CaraGlow is lighter in both colour and flavour intensity, offering a cleaner, fresher profile.

Ideally, CaraGlow is used at 5-15% to add a slight fullness on the palate and a gentle sweetness, all without overshadowing hop or yeast character, making it perfect for brewers seeking nuance and finesse in lighter beer styles.
